The points system is primarily used to determine the housing priorities for the following year. The top 19 point earners (both resident and nonresident) who want to live in GREEN House the next year will be guaranteed housing, and are able to get a room of their choice with priority to those who have more points. Each resident receives points for attending events, volunteering, or participating in the dorm in various other ways. Residents who don’t earn enough points in the year will have to reapply to live in GREEN House. See below for ways you can earn points.

• Attending Volunteering Events: 10

• Attending Ecologically themed events: 5

• Attending Fun Events: 3

• Attending Paid events (e.g. certain formals): 1
